For our first featured music section, we thought it might be cooler to have the band write their own bio than to have us piece one together. What follows is their rant, unedited and only barely skimmed over by me.
Often times, people just say to themselves, gee wiz, I wish I had some more information on this band I'm enjoying on my brand new 3000 gig iPod right now. Well folks, this page is just for you; an accurate, comprehensive, and detailed analysis of what it is to be Jet LagGemini. We all live in the tropical paradise of America known as New Jersey. Here, a pizza is a pie, there is a diner around every corner, and there are more bands than people and cars put together. Vlad and Matei are brothers from Romania and Misha is an ambassador from mother Russia. Dan DiLiberto is the only member of the band born in the US.
We played our first show March 27th, 2003 and still have the entry bracelet, one day hoping to sell it on E-Bay for massive amounts of money. We have played shows that we booked/organized ourselves ever since, making a plethora of friends but also having bands argue with us over thirty dollars that they obviously deserved to get paid for bringing their girlfriends to the show. We were delighted to share the stage with celebrated acts on known indie labels such as: The Matches (Epitaph), Halifax (Drive-Thru), Socratic (Drive-Thru), Hellogoodbye (Drive-Thru), June (Victory), Punchline (Fueled by Ramen), Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer(Eyeball), Jenoah (Drive-Thru), A Day At The Fair (Rushmore), My American Heart (Warcon), Sleeping at Last (Interscope), and tons more.. We tend to make jokes that only we think are funny on stage.
After searching for a label that suits our style of music and doesnt mind our ogre-like looks, we signed to Doghouse Records, which is also home to amazing people that write amazing music such as The Honorary Title, Limbeck, Koufax and The Meg and Dia Band. Also let us not forget Say Anything, The Get Up Kids, The All-American Rejects, and tons more bands that all began their lives on Doghouse Records.
Now that you are no doubt a JLG connoisseur, we would love to meet you and hang out at a show.

Who are your influences?
Misha: Looking out side my window on a fresh rainy morning.
Vlad: We all come with different influences and ideas to create our music. Sort of like Capitan Planet.
Matt: Whatever is in my CD player this week.
Dan: I\'d have to say listening to various different genres of music. Also, depending on my mood when I wake up every morning has some impact.

How did all of you meet?
     Vlad: Blind date.

Hometown?
Dan: I\'m a native New Yorker.
Vlad: The rest of us are about as foreign as you can get.

What drives you to create music?
Misha: It\'s just something that always makes you feel great and it\'s always there for you. At the end of the day you take a shower to feel clean, eat to feel fed, and play/write music to feel complete/happy, or sometimes just to vent.

What do you do besides create music?
Misha: Read, draw up artwork/designs, play video games, play tennis, hang out with my girlfriend and friends, take massive poops.
Matt: I try to make sure that everything regarding the band\'s non-musical aspects is taken care of.
Dan: I cook eggs in the morning.

Favorite venues?
Vlad: I\'d have to say The Continental in NYC and School of Rock in NJ. We actually have a show at The Continental on July 30th. Check out our Myspace for more dates and info. I know, Iknow...shameless promotion.

What are your feelings on girls pants?
Misha: They are only $10 at discount retailers and fit like $150 guys pants!!
Vlad: People sometimes make a big deal about them, but it\'s the style today. They don\'t make you "scene" or "X- core emo." And honestly, they make guys pants that fit the same exact way.
Matt: I am X-core Emo Goth.
Dan: If you like girls pants and you wear them that\'s cool...just don\'t buy me a pair for Christmas.

What are you plans for the future?
Misha: Very bright ones, I need to wear shades when I think of them.
Vlad: Touché.

If you could wipe one band off the face of the earth, who would it be?
Misha: Hahaha, there are a few bands out there that I\'d like to say are not kosher.
Vlad: We love everyone!
Dan: Jet Lag Gemini.

How was it getting signed to Doghouse Records?
     Misha: Super.
Vlad: Voluptuous.
Dan: Very filling.

Who would win in a fight? Vin Diesel, Chuck Norris, or God?
Vlad: Chuck Norris never wet his bed as a child. The bed wet itself out of fear.
Misha: Chuck Norris drives an ice cream truck covered in human skulls.
Matt: Chuck Norris doesn\'t take showers, he takes bloodbaths.
Dan: Me.

If you could have lunch with someone, dead or alive, who would it be?
Misha: Having lunch with dead people is pretty scary, so I\'m going to say someone alive.

Pornstar names?
Vlad: Vladdy Daddy, and I don\'t regret that time of my life one bit.
Misha: Are you asking how many I can name, because this page isn\'t bigenough.

Top 5 bands:
Misha: At the moment my top 5 are â?" Blink, The Subways, The Matches, Taking Back Sunday, Green Day
Dan: Right now they would be Underoath, Pink Floyd, Taking Back Sunday, The Mars Volta, and Lucky Chan.
Vlad: Although we agree on a bunch of bands, we tend to listen to different things so that when we write we can collaborate well with different sounds. Again, much like Capitan Planet.

Some shout outs or special thanks:
     Captain Planet
