The 2008 Deity website has gone live, and all of the hype we've been hearing about their new site and new product line is definitely true. They [both] rock! Their cranks, definitely one of the best in the industry have another year of innovation put into them, and they are now offering an all-new saddle that looks hott.

I don't think I need to say more than that. I'm not a huge football fan, but when the team outside your front door gets into the 'bowl, it's cause for excitement. When the team outside your front door causes one of the biggest upsets in history, and plays a game as close as that, then it's positively worth celebrating! Cheer, and drink a beer.

Yep, since I'm out of stuff to post on here. There's been a serious lack of things to drop on here, but I feel like I've been slacking on posts nonetheless. Cool, yes? Ordinarily, I do not put my support behind online bike distributors, as it is my feeling that they take away from the livelihood of our modes of cycling by essentially running your local bike shop into the ground with literally unbeatable prices. But, alas, this is different. To me at least. If you read the above, then you know that they only offer one product at a time, and those products come from the scratch and dent departments. In our industries, even companies that appear to be huge and invincible make surprisingly small margins on their goods. So you can imagine that an entire shipment of goofed products is a whole lot of money in the shitter. Well, not if someone will buy that off of you. That said, I think their mission statement is right on, and you should probably keep their page on a link somewhere, for the day they have the part you need.

Sorry for the lack of posting, but it's the thick of winter, and as far as I can tell, the only riding going on anywhere near me is the occasional late night park session. I did, however, just get back from my first trip to Ray's in Cleveland. While the area is nothing to brag about, the park is sick! If you've never been, get out there. Let me know and I'll get back there with you.

For NJD, things are chilling. Every other site is down for their annual renovation, but we'll save that for some other time, thanks. You can expect a few more product reviews to drop in the time coming. Till then, keep the pedals moving over the frozen-ass dirt. That's what i'm trying to do.

Also, if anyone has been riding their bikes lately, I'd love to know about it. Send some pics, words, whatever. One thing or another has kept me from riding for most of January, and it seems like the whole world is in the same boat.

I'll have some goods next weekend, from a trip to Ray's. Drop a line if you plan on going; I know there are a few people on the site who are going.

This photo is completely unrelated to everything on my mind, excpet that it involves a bike and it's winter. But, I always laugh when I see the photos of that bike, especially on that day. Brakeless, singlespeed, motocross suspension!

Anyway, this Friday night everyone will be heading to Hackettstown skataperk for the 10-2 bikes only session. We should get as many big wheel riders as we can out there. There are a lot of us in the area, but nobody ever gets any sort of ride together. Let's get this going and bring the Jersey (and beyond) riders together for a session. Tell all your friends and let it be known if you're coming by posting in the forums, right here.
