I've had trails on the mind lately. Check this out, I think most of it's from Posh and those trails remind me why dirt jumping is so rad.

I was at my local spot the other day with a really old (yet new to me) Nikon N2000 camera trying to learn how it works. Mike Fede was throwing some dope x-up whips, and as promised, Robbie Downward flaired my just-built lip. Click the pic to go big, and here for the photo gallery.

My buddy Shaun (or Catfish as you may know him. Not that one, the other one.) hit me up to tell me about this video. It was posted a few days ago on The Come Up. These are some of the sickest trails I've ever seen, mostly due to the natural terrain in the place. The lines are creative as hell also.

Before you watch, take note that the Caldor Trail Jam is going to be next Sunday, 7/13 instead. 30 minutes of sheer downpouring rain this morning threw things off schedule. Keep your little datebook clear for Sunday!

Alec has been telling me for a while now that they're working on an awesome bmx park in Ithaca, NY, and that it should be done before this coming winter. Until FBM posted some pics on their blog, though, I hadn't seen the park itself. Here are two photos from the fat bald men. Videos like Criminal Mischief and the old Animal, FBM, and Little Devil videos are what I grew up watching and what inspired me to ride. Something about the burly simplicity of hauling ass at an impossible gap or trucking at a brand new dirt double not knowing if it's even possible, are the thrills that made me want to ride my bike all the time. Here's a few minutes of Criminal Mischief that I stole off YouTube. It's mostly the introduction, which is absolutely awesome. Then Jason Enns and Garret Burns' sections.



Bikes, Beer, and Crazy People must be one of the best combinations that I know of! Van Homan's part in CM is also unbelievable. Notice the 44 tooth sprockets as well; gotta love it. If you like what you see, then get an East Coast Destruction VHS and press play. I don't think those ever saw DVD's, so you'll need to pull out the dusty VCR for it.

I'll post some photos from the 2by4 jam tomorrow afternoon also, sit tight, or go ride...the jumps are looking nice today.

I stole this from The Come Up, which I hate to admit that I even ever check. Regardless, this video is really cool. Woodward West has a whole freeride park of bridges, ladders, jumps, and gaps. BMX rider Brandon Dosch kills all of these on his 20" in the vid below. Ch-ch-ch-check it:

Yep, since I'm out of stuff to post on here. There's been a serious lack of things to drop on here, but I feel like I've been slacking on posts nonetheless.
