So Close!
07/30/07
Finally after years of riding piece-of-shit bikes, I am about to put together the bike of my dreams! I went to town on Animal's product line and picked up the full line of brown componenets. I've got an Atomlab 24" Wheelset that is ready to go as well as a RockShox Argyle fork. To co -
2nd Big Wheels Ride
07/26/07
Hey All,
I don't have much time, as I've got to jet off to get to a 311 show (Fuck Yea!). But,aside from the usual apology for the lack of posts, it's important that I get this out to the world:
BROOKLYN BANKS BIG WHEELS JAM, FRIDAY NIGHT AT 6PM.
Same rules -
Rain Sucks.
07/23/07
I don't have too much to say today, except that I woke up to pounding rain on my window, only to remember leaving my bike outside on the rack.
Last night's jam was sick! We started at the Banks and rolled through a couple of spots nearby with something like 30 riders in tote. When -
Brooklyn Big Wheels Jam
07/20/07
Anson hit me up a few days ago to let me know about the jam he's working on for this Sunday. This Sunday, at 6 P.M. bring yourself, your mountain bike, and friends to the Brooklyn Banks. The turnout ought to be good, and it's time we get a huge mtb session rolling in the city -
Argyle is the New Black
07/18/07
Alec just hooked up his new RockShox Argyle 302 fork and wrote a quick diddy about it. You can see the initial check right here or by clicking on the pic below. Once he's had some time on the fork, you can expect a full-on review right here on NJ Dirt. As a heads up, the new Daily Habit sect -
Let's Have Another Look
07/12/07
Just in case the first review of the GT Ruckus UF 24 didn't completely convince everyone, I did up a recap of how the bike is holding up, seven months into riding it. The first review was about four months in, but much has changed. The bike still rocks, and there's no questioning that. -
FBM Jump Comp!!!
07/12/07
Nick sent this out to me in the wee hours of the morning, probably from the airport. Looks like an awesome event and you can bet I'll be there if I can get off work! Click the flyer to see it big or check out FBM.

Brooklyn Machine Works First Look
07/10/07
Nick just unwrapped one of the first handful of BMW Anson City Limited frames and snapped some pics for everyone to check out. You can see them by clicking the pic, or right here. Be on the lookout for an in-depth review of the frame in the coming weeks.
The frame came just in time for -
Ello
07/06/07
Nick sent me two photos of Will from the trails/ramp last night. You might notice one of them is the new cover shot, and the other one is right here. Either one could have been the cover, no doubt, but I was feeling the blue flash.
I'd have put them up last night but I fell asleep -
Aint That Some Shit
07/02/07
I'm posting this on Nick's behalf -- he sent this my way and it's just absurd. Apparantly NYC is working to require permits for people using or carrying video and photo equipment through public places in the city.
Those using a tripod will need to get a permit if their sho
